Overview
Indie R&B artist Ria Soko wanted her debut single to feel like a single, unbroken breath. We staged the entire video as one continuous take inside a custom-built neon set, with choreography written to sit inside the camera move.
The challenge
Independent budget, two-day shoot, one chance at a one-take performance. The label needed a visual identity strong enough to anchor a six-month rollout (singles, merch, tour visuals).
Approach
- 01
Wrote the camera path and the choreography together so each lyric beat hit a lighting cue.
- 02
Designed a modular neon set that could be reshot for follow-up singles — locking the artist's visual world in one build.
- 03
Trained the artist over six rehearsals to hold the take and deliver vocally on set.
The result.
