Overview

Indie R&B artist Ria Soko wanted her debut single to feel like a single, unbroken breath. We staged the entire video as one continuous take inside a custom-built neon set, with choreography written to sit inside the camera move.

The challenge

Independent budget, two-day shoot, one chance at a one-take performance. The label needed a visual identity strong enough to anchor a six-month rollout.

Approach

  1. 01

Wrote the camera path and the choreography together so each lyric beat hit a lighting cue.

  2. 02

Designed a modular neon set that could be reshot for follow-up singles — locking the artist's visual world in one build.

  3. 03

Trained the artist over six rehearsals to hold the take and deliver vocally on set.
